A dark night came, far from the moon's shine.

Oh how I hate nights of this kind.

All quiet, and silent...

Only the whisper of wind to end my torment.

A night like this I could make my plans

That one day forth I shall rule the lands!

But a darkness creeping up my walls kept me still,

Through my spine was a sudden, demonly chill.

As I watched the trees scratching the moon

I wished that daylight would only come too soon.

Even the strongest warrior sheds his tears,

So shall the strongest woman have fears.

But Himoo Yuina, can it be?

Fears so childish to one as me?

I would say no, but a dark claw against the moon bites my tongue.

The screech of crows stop my thoughts with a blood curdling song.

Alone I watch the trees outside.

Sakura trees, blooming with a snobbish pride.

Now their petals fall and scatter like an endless rain.

A sweet revenge for a sleepless pain.

Darkness is not a fear, I scold.

Creatures of the night in stories told

Simply can not be.

Then why do remembered ghost stories suddenly seem scary to me?

Tonight, I remain without sleep.

Thoughts rush through my mind, hard and deep.

Perhaps, maybe, a sleepless night is okay...

Thank God tomorrow is a Sunday...
